Current: Suzanne Clark, LPC, and I are currently co-facilitating a monthly group for adults involved in adoption who are adoptive parents, biological parents of an adopted person, or individuals who are adopted. The group exists to provide a supportive environment in which all members can share their life experiences, and learn from each other's perspectives. The group meets on the third Sunday of each month from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. in Roswell, Georgia. For more information and to register, visit the page for Roswell Adoption Support Meetup on Meetup.com.
Groups Forming: Monthly groups are forming now to begin in the fall of 2017. One week of group will be for biological children of adoptive parents who are having difficulty adjusting to the adoption of a sibling. One week will be for adoptive mothers. One week will be for adolescent girls between the ages of 13 and 17 who are adopted. The focus of the last week of group each month is currently being planned in response to community need.
